  • What is included in the pricing?
    We are pleased to inform you that our breakfast, lunch, bbq, appetizers/dessert menu prices include disposable plates, cutlery and napkins. You can add glass plates, cutlery and service staff for an additional fee per guest. Our buffet and plated menus include plates, cutlery, napkins and service staff. This comprehensive package ensures that all essential elements for a seamless dining experience are taken care of, allowing you to focus on enjoying your special day.
  • Does Highwood Catering work with dietary restrictions?
    At Highwood Catering Inc., we understand the importance of accommodating specific dietary restrictions to ensure that all guests can enjoy a delicious and satisfying culinary experience. We are well-equipped to work with a wide range of dietary needs, including but not limited to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, and kosher requirements. Our talented chefs are skilled in creating flavorful and innovative dishes that cater to these dietary restrictions without compromising on taste or presentation. We take great care in sourcing high-quality ingredients and preparing meals in separate areas to prevent cross-contamination. Additionally, our knowledgeable staff is trained to address any concerns or questions regarding dietary restrictions, providing a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all attendees. Whether you have a few guests with specific dietary needs or require a fully customized menu, we are committed to accommodating your requirements and ensuring that everyone feels included and satisfied at your wedding event.
  • How does it work if we want two entree’s on our buffet menu?
    When it comes to pricing for two entree items, our policy is to charge the full price for the more expensive entree item. As for the additional entree item, it is priced between $9 and $15, depending on the selection. We strive to offer a fair and competitive pricing structure that reflects the quality and value of our menu options.
  • Can we request two different entree options for the buffet menu and have the qualities split between the total guest count?
    In regards to splitting entree quantities between guests, we regret to inform you that it is not possible. Our menu is designed to ensure that each guest has the option to choose one entree or the other, or even both entree choices if they prefer. This approach allows us to maintain consistency in portion sizes and ensure that all guests have a satisfying dining experience.
  • How soon in advance should we book?
    We recommend booking sooner rather than later to secure your desired date and ensure that our catering services are available on your specific date.
  • Do we get to keep the left over food?
    No, you do not get to keep the leftover food. We intentionally prepare approximately 15% more than confirmed to ensure that all guests are adequately served and to avoid any shortage of food during the event. As we do not charge for this additional quantity, it is not possible to provide the leftovers to clients. Our priority is to maintain the quality and freshness of the food throughout the event.
  • What is the booking process?
    To confirm our catering services for your wedding, we require the signing of our catering contract and a 25% deposit based on the estimated quote we will provide for you. This ensures that your booking is secured and allows us to begin preparations for your special event. We offer convenient payment options for our catering services, including email transfer and credit card payments. If you prefer to pay via cheque, please note that prior approval from Highwood Catering is required.
  • Are the deposits refundable should we cancel our booking?
    Please note that our booking fee is non-refundable, as it is designed to secure your specific date and ensure our availability for your specific date.
  • When do we need to confirm final guest count and dietary restrictions?
    To ensure a seamless and personalized catering experience, we kindly request that you provide us with the final guest count and any dietary restrictions at least 21 days prior to your event. This allows us to meticulously plan and prepare, accommodating all your guests' needs and preferences with utmost care and attention to detail.
  • What if RSVP’s come back later than 21 days prior to confirming our guest count
    We understand that RSVPs may come in after you have confirmed your guest count, and we are more than happy to accommodate additions to the guest count. However, please note that we are unable to deduct from the guest count within 21 days prior to the wedding date.
  • When is final payment due
    Please note that the final payment for our catering services is required to be made 14 days prior to your event. This allows us to properly prepare and ensure a seamless
